Michael Anthony DeLeon, age 25, passed from this life on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from a motor vehicle accident near Marble Falls, TX. Services for Anthony will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Eastland. Friends and family will gather Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 6 P.M. followed by a Rosary at 7 P.M. Burial will be at the Eastland City Cemetery.
Anthony was born in Amarillo, TX on July 28, 1992 to Anthony DeLeon and Delma Barrera. He was a graduate of Eastland High School and worked for National Oil Well Varco in Marble Falls, TX. Anthony was a very likeable young man who always had lots of friends. He was the oldest of 3 boys who adored their older brother. He loved vehicles especially his blue 1983 Chevy C-10 pickup and was a Houston Texan Fan. But his greatest love was for his precious Mother.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Delma Barrera of Eastland and Anthony DeLeon of Amarillo, his brothers Aaron DeLeon and David Perez of Eastland and half-brothers, Isaac, Ian and Dominic DeLeon all of Amarillo, grandmothers, Alicia Barrera and Linda DeLeon, and lots of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is also survived by his brother “from another mother” and best friend Nick Herrera.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Benito Barrera and Carmen DeLeon, an uncle, Jessie DeLeon and cousin, Jimmy Barrera.
