Michael Francis Handran, age 67, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday January 4th at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Weatherford with Father Scott Wilson officiating, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn.
Michael was born November 2, 1945 in Tampa, Florida to Howard A. Handran and Anna Marie (Brady) Handran. He was a teacher at Tarleton University. He was a gentleman rancher that liked rock 'n' roll and was a member of the NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Handran of Gordon, TX; two sons, Sean Handran of Oakland, CA and Daniel Handran of Arlington, TX; three daughters, Michele Conn of Arlington, TX, Erin Culpepper of Milwaukie, OR and Colleen and husband Rick Saloomey of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Kevin Handran and wife Susan of Austin, TX; one sister, Kathleen Handran of Leander, TX; and twelve grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the All Saints Episcopal Church at 123 S. Waco St., Weatherford, TX 76086.
