PALO PINTO – Michele Kay Swaney, 71, of Palo Pinto went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in Abilene. Memorial Service will be 2-4 PM Saturday, September 24th at the Lone Camp Community Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Strawn.
Michele was born November 6, 1944 to Chester Wilson and Katherine Fulton Wilson in Peoria, Illinois. She married Michel Swaney July 13, 1963 in Morton, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. One of her favorite hobbies was to go bowling.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michel Swaney; 3 daughters, Pamela Lynn McElrath & husband Don of Tuscola, Patricia Ann Lofton & husband Lester of Old Glory, and Marsha Marie Moberley & husband Pete of Canyon; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
