Mickey Charles Blackwell, age 59, passed from this life, August 10, 2017 at his home. A memorial service for Mickey will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 821 CR 237, Eastland, TX (Staff Cemetery Road, Lake Leon).
Mickey was born March 20, 1958 in Ranger, TX to Monroe Wilburn and Edna Earl Paulson Blackwell. He was a graduate of Ranger High School. He worked for Chestnut Cycle for 22 years as a mechanic and worked for 10 years for Allegro Mobility as a service representative. Mickey loved motorcycles and fast cars, fishing, camping and having fun. He lived by the motto, “respect my elders and protect the children.”
He is survived by one son Anthony Elrod and a host of good friends.
