Cisco - Miecislaus Augustyn, age 72, passed away on Sunday September 16, 2012 in Abilene. Catholic Service will be Thursday September, 20th at 10 at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Cisco. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco under the direction of Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco.
Miecislaus was born on September 12, 1940 in South Hackensack, New Jersey to Joseph and Nellie (Sudol) Augustyn. He married Kathleen Kmetz in Conway, South Carolina on October 18, 1960. They moved from Virginia to Texas three years ago. He was an auto mechanic.
He is survived by his wife of over 51 years; his son Mitchell Augustyn of Cisco; his two daughters, Kathleen Hubbard of South Plymouth, New York and Darlene Tumilowitz of Norwick, New York; one brother, two sisters and seven grandchildren.
