Milton Lewis (June Bug) Monroe, 65, passed from this life to the next on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2PM at the Second Baptist Church in Ranger. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Milton Lewis Monroe was born on June 11, 1954 in Fort Worth to Raymond and Betty (Browning) Monroe. He graduated from Ranger High School, and worked as a self-employed plumber. Milton was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching sports on TV, and reading the newspaper.
He is survived by his son, Milton Lewis Monroe II and wife, Krystal, Monty Monroe, and Steven Monroe; daughters, Macee Combs and husband, Taylor and Jennifer Valenzuela; brothers, Larry Monroe and wife, Carolyn, Danny Monroe, and Mike Monroe; sister, Jeanine Grizzard; and grandchildren, Brennan, Rylan, Braely, Lauren, Emma, Taycee, Allyson, Kaylee, Steven, Jr., Emma, and Maddie.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Roger Grizzard.
