Morine Ellison passed away at Ranger Care Center in Ranger, Texas on May 6, 2014. She was born August 25, 1927 in Ranger, Texas to John and Ada Casey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gene Ellison, two brothers, Shorty Casey and Chubby Casey, two sisters Laura Murdock, and Loise Wheat.
She survived by two sons: Charles White and wife Barbra of Ranger, Jerry Don White and wife Ginger of Van Buren, Arkansas. Three daughters; Sue Fort and husband Jerry Palestine, Pat Currier of San Antonio, and Jeannie Cox of Mansfield, Texas.
She is also survived by 7 brothers, 6 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
After attending school at Lone Cedar, Ms. Ellison spent the majority of her life in the Nursing field. Her hobbies were golfing, fishing, dancing, and taking trips.
She was happiest when working outdoors in her flower beds and traveling to different places.
Graveside Services will be held at 10am Thursday May 8, 2014 at Merriman Cemetery Ranger, Texas with John Casey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7pm at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger.
Pallbearers will be Cody White, David Fort, Lee Johnson, John Minter, James Elliot, Honorary Pallbearers will be David Litton, Corbin White, Stetson Jonson, and Cody Johnson.
