Nedra Lurlene Moore

Nedra Lurlene Moore, born August 20th, 1958, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Bobby and Ruth Freeman, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of sixty-six on a beautiful morning, September 9th, 2024 - just as she would have wished. Her family takes solace in knowing she now rejoices in heaven with her Lord and Savior, alongside her loved ones that preceded her.
A proud Texan, Nedra often joked that she made her way to the Lone Star State as quickly as she could, arriving just three months after her birth. On June 4th, 1993, she married the love of her life, Bill Moore, embarking on a journey of partnership and devotion that would span over three decades. Their union was marked by shared laughter, unwavering support, and a deep, abiding love that touched all who knew them. She found her greatest joy in the company of her family, whom she cherished deeply. Known for her sharp wit and readiness with a joke, Nedra had a gift for bringing laughter into any situation. Her generous nature was evident in her willingness to help others, sometimes to her own detriment. She was fiercely loyal, providing unwavering support to her husband, children, family, and friends throughout her life.
Nedra is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Bobby Freeman, and her sister Vanessa Rivers. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Moore; her children, Bobby Allman of Cisco, Texas, and Mariah Arnett and her husband Bradley Arnett of Ranger, Texas; her brothers, Tim Freeman of Ranger, Texas, and Mac McClenan of Abilene, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved grandchildren: Dylan, Tucker, Tuesday, Jimmy Ray, Billy, Aurora, Serena, Jameson, and Rebekah.
Nedra's warm presence, quick humor, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who know her. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire her family and friends for years to come.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 6~8 pm at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at Colony Cemetery.
