Neeta Faye Thames, 78, of Burkburnett, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012. Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Thames was born February 21, 1934 in Abilene to Alonzo and Juanita M. (Guthrie) Lindsey. She married Alvin Thames who preceded her in death in 2010. She was a waitress, homemaker, and Baptist. Survivors include three daughters, Nelda McKenzie of Ranger, Margie Pabon of Riverside, CA, and Missy Jacobs of Wichita Falls; a brother, Owen Sellers of Junction; a sister, Bobbie Lee Hazard of Eastland; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
