Neoma Marvell Ottinger

Neoma M. Ottinger, age 64, passed from this life on Friday, July 6, 2018.
Neoma was born December 30, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to Garth and Barbara Smith Ottinger. She was a High School graduate and considered Talco, TX home until she moved to Ranger in 2008. While in High School Neoma was a Majorette in the High School band and loved twirling during football games. She was a dog lover especially her precious Miss Patty. She married Bo Stanley who preceded her in death.
In her younger years she worked in the butcher department for several grocery stores but later in life was able to be a homemaker. Neoma was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Carbon.
Neoma is survived by her son Chris Yount and his girlfriend Jane Abbott of Cisco, daughter Chasity Altal of Springfield, Oregon, brother, Dean Ottinger and wife Tammy of Gray Summitt, Missouri, sisters; Barbara King and husband Harold of Garfield, Arkansas and Janie Yandell and husband Kevin of Hagensport, Texas. She is also survived by the loves of her life, grandchildren; Zade, Zana, and Huda and her very special love grandson Diesel. Neoma is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garth and Barbara Ottinger and husband Bo Stanley.
Neoma’s final request was be to cremated and taken back to East Texas.
