Ola Jean Halcomb, 80 of Stephenville, passed away Sunday in Stephenville. Visitation will be Wed, Nov. 26th from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Fri, Nov 28th at the Eastland City Cemetery.
Mrs. Halcomb was born October 31, 1934 in Weatherford to Roy & Marie (Hutchins) Fowler. She was a homemaker and had worked as a nurse’s aide. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
Survivors include a son, Troy Wood & wife Dee of Stephenville; 2 daughters, Bonnie Rice & husband James of Gorman, and Carla Pletcher & husband George of Boise, Idaho; 5 grandchildren, Rodney Rice, Mandy Ake, James Rice, Ali Sears, and Robby Wood; and by 5 great-grandchildren, Niycole Moncrief, Breanna Ake, Erica Rice, Chole Wood, and Sean Sears.
