Oma was born July 30 1944 in Roanoke Texas to the late Joe & Rosella Parish. She was the second oldest of eight children, proceeded in death by one brother, Bill Parish.
Oma married the love of her life the late Earl T. Fonville & gained a daughter on June 12, 1965, in Roanoke Texas. This joyous union blessed them with three children.
The family moved to Ranger Texas in 1978 where Oma became a member of the First Baptist Church of Ranger. She worked as a secretary there for over 25 years. She relished working in the church & gave thanks to the Lord, serving on several committees. In her spare time she eagerly volunteered with Meals on Wheels & the Baptist Student Ministry. Oma was an avid reader & enjoyed walking with her EBB sisters. To know her was to love her & she will be sorely missed.
Oma leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, James Fonville & wife Lyndie, Scott Fonville & wife Rosie, Joanna Zarate & husband Ruben, and Shiela Hamilton & husband Mark; nine grandchildren (sweetie pies) whom she doted on, Maddie, Jacob, Eli, William, Ava, Emma, Anastyn, Allison, & Zach; five brothers, Wayne, Larry, John, Randy, & Troy; one sister, Belinda; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
