Orval Andrew Boling

Orval Andrew Boling, 93, passed from this life to the next on Monday, February 3, 2020. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 10 AM at the Daugherty Street Church of Christ with interment following in the Eastland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland on Thursday from 5-7PM.
Orval Andrew Boling was born on September 8, 1926 in Silverton, Texas to Lucian B. Boling and Laura Miller Boling. Orval was a proud veteran of the US Army. He also was a member of the Daugherty Street Church of Christ and a retired Postal Clerk. Orval married Charlotte A. Smith on June 22, 2002 in Eastland.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Boling; daughter, Renee Matthews and husband, Ron; step-daughter, Susanne Moore; brother, Gene Boling; sister, Lorene Lemley; grandchildren, Matt and Brent Matthews; step-grandchildren, Hagen and Scarlett Moore; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Helen; and 6 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Daugherty Street Church of Christ or the Foster’s Home For Children in Stephenville.
