Orville Clark, age 96 years young, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife and step-daughter by his side. He was born May 20, 1923 in Wilburton, Ok to Charles Ambrose and Ethel Bartlett Clark. He grew up in Pine Bluff, AR and lived there until he joined the Army Air Corps in 1941. After his time in the Army, Orville was furloughed to go home to Sacramento, CA.
In 1966, Orville obtained his pilot license which was one of the highlights of his life. He had his own runway and flew a Cessna for his livestock business and personal business. He spent most of his career as a cattleman but he also use to enjoy riding and showing cutting horses. Orville also enjoyed roping and riding and would sing to his wife Nena and children while they were on horseback checking cattle. He also had a cattle and hay hauling business and continued to haul for himself until he was eighty.
In 1942, Orville married Clara Nitshke who passed away on August 21, 1985 from breast cancer. Together they had two sons, Orville Dean Clark and Darrell Gene Clark. On July 3, 1998 at the age of seventy-five he married Nena Gabbert and inherited Christopher Carroll and Chelsea Carroll Robinson and a niece Angela Rodriguez.
