Graveside services for Patricia Irene Bielinski, of Mingus, TX, have been rescheduled for Thursday, June 23, 10:30 am, at Mount Marion Cemetery in Strawn, TX. David Milmo will officiate.
Born March 31, 1931, Pat passed away on May 24, 2016 after several years of failing health.
Pat graduated as valedictorian from Gordon, TX High School where she was an all-district forward basketball player. She trained as a legal secretary and her first job was at Carswell AFB where she was selected “Miss Flying Safety”. Her career continued in several large law offices in IL and TX. Pat was a devotee of ballroom dancing and she taught at studios in Fort Worth and Chicago. She retired in 1993 and moved into the Bielinski homestead in Mingus.
She was an avid reader and a TV sports enthusiast. As a strong political conservative, she could argue politics and world affairs. She was a gifted photographer; her favorite subjects were landscapes, flowers and cats. Cats were the love of her life. She rescued and raised many and was a generous contributor to several humane animal shelters.
With so many interests, she lived alone, but was never lonely. She is survived by two sisters, Celia Bielinski Lissak and Dorothy Bielinski Weil, her brother, Leo Bielinski and 12 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Frank Stephen Bielinski and Lottie Wasieleski Bielinski, her brother Frank William Bielinski, her sister Nellie Catherine Bielinski, one niece and one nephew.
