RANGER – Patricia E. Jacoby, 59, passed from this life Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at a Ft. Worth Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Services for Patricia will be Monday, February 26 at 2 PM at Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine St. Ranger, TX. Visitation will be Sunday, February 25, from 5 – 7 PM. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Patricia was born July 8, 1958 in Glen Rose, TX to William Thomas Whatley and Mary Ellen Birdsong Whatley. She married Dillard Wayne Jacoby on February 1, 1993 in Ranger. Before marrying Dillard she worked for Volkswagen of America. After moving to Ranger she worked as an aide for Home Health.
Patricia loved the outdoors and picking up pecans. She loved garage sales and weekend trade days and playing games on her cell phone including puzzles.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dillard Jacoby of Ranger, daughters; Misty Henline and husband Bradley of Granbury and April Wells and husband David of Arkansas, 6 grandchildren; Brandon West (Tanaisha), Christopher West, Dustin Jacoby, Destiny Wells, Corbyn Wells, and Jordon Jacoby whom was raised by her precious grandmother, Patricia: also 5 great-grandkids. Patricia is also survived by 2 brothers; James Lewis of Saginaw, Richard Whatley of Wisconsin, 2 sisters; Rebecca West of Granbury and Edwina Whatley of Granbury, Sisters-in-law, Cynthia Whatley of Ft. Worth, Dorothy Wright of Alvarado, and Betty Cannon of Oklahoma, 3 aunts; Ruth Hicks of Bridgeport, Wilma Sargent of Saginaw and Birdie Joe Cade of Tyler and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by 3 other daughters; Melissa O’Rouke, Lara Johnson (CJ), JoAnna O’Rouke and 8 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mom and stepfather, Mary and Durwood Wylie, and her father and stepmother, William Thomas and Peggy Whatley and a brother, Eugene Whatley.
