Patricia Venable

Patricia Venable, 70 of Gordon, passed away Monday November 21, 2016 in Fort Worth. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3rd at the Trinity Baptist Church in Strawn with Reverend Mike Orsini officiating and under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn.
Patricia was born December 28, 1945 in Anson, TX to Shelton and Lena Beth (Barron) Lain. She attended school in Strawn and Mineral Wells. Patricia enjoyed going to garage sales as well as fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Nowak; brother, Gary Don Lain; granddaughters, Kari Lynn, Taylor Jo, and Destiny Venable; and grandson, Dillon Venable. Survivors include three sons, Joel Venable and wife Kelly, James Pete Venable, and Steven Venable; brother, Ronnie Lain; two sisters, Beverly Bryan and Debra Carr; three grandchildren, Steven and Riley Venable, and Percy Akins and wife Anna; and four great-grandchildren, Cooper, Isaiah, Ian, and Nayeli.
