Pedro Solis

Pedro Solis, 79, of Cisco, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at his residence. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland on Tuesday from 4 until 5:30 p.m. A rosary will follow at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Ranger, followed by burial in the Eastland City Cemetery.

Mr. Solis was born on March 16, 1933 in Santa Rosa, TX to Rafael Solis, Sr. and Rosa Gonzalez. He was a forklift operator for Morgan Portable Buildings retiring after 35 years. He loved to fish, work outdoors and dance. He married Inez Vallejo in Eastland and they shared many years together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Inez Solis; children, Eddie Solis, Pedro Solis and wife Simona, Emma Bohrmann and husband Ed, Janie Sancillo and husband David; siblings, Raymond & Elia Solis, Vicky & Fred Rodriquez, Alicia & Arturo Aranda, Dolores Solis, Alfredo & Donita Solis, Rojelio & Gloria Solis, Richard & Teresa Solis, Robert & Ramona Solis, and Rafael Solis, Jr; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
