Raymond was born in Mineral Wells, Texas on May 30, 1990 and was proud to call Strawn, Texas his home. Visitation with the family will be held from 6pm-8pm, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn. A Mass is scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. John Catholic Church in Strawn, followed by burial at Mt Marion Cemetery in Strawn, Texas.
He is survived by his parents: Victorio and Bisitacion Romero; sisters: Enriqueta Romero and Irene Romero; brothers: Santos Romero and Pascual Romero; and numerous extended family members and numerous friends that held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his beloved dog Kimbal.
He was reunited in heaven with his paternal and maternal grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Raymond was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and being “The Cool Uncle” meant the world to him. He had a heart of gold, that those that knew him knew it was something very special. He was extremely caring, compassionate, and always willing to meet anyone who he crossed paths with. He enjoyed traveling to new places, trying new drinks, and new food along the way. He really enjoyed what life had to offer, took it, and ran with it. Quality time was precious to him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and kids that called him “ The Cool Uncle”.
