Reba Ruth Lusk

Reba “Ruth” Lusk, 93, of Cisco departed from this life on Saturday December 26, 2015 in Coleman, TX. Ruth’s life was honored by her family with a private service at Cross Plains Cemetery on December 26, 2015.
Ruth was the youngest of 12 children that were born to William and Alma (Archer) Gary on April 5, 1922 at Admiral, Texas. Ruth attended the Last Chance School and the Cottonwood school which consolidated with Cross Plains where she graduated in May of 1940.
She married Beryl M. Lusk on May 11, 1940 in Cross Plains. She and Beryl made their home in Washington State during WW II. Ruth and her husband moved to Cisco in 1954 where she was employed at Boss Manufacturing, Eastland Memorial Hospital and Russell – Newman before retiring in 1984.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Beryl in 1988; and Granddaughter, Lynda Jo Burkett in 2003.
Ruth is survived by one daughter, Sandra Moore of Pioneer, TX; 2 sons, Emory Lusk and wife Sandy of Cross Cut, and Michael Lusk and wife Jenna of Hutto; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
