Richard Glen Harr

Richard Glen Harr, 59 of Eastland, passed away Thursday January 21, 2016 in Abilene. Memorial service will be held 6-8 PM Thursday, January 28th at the Ranger City Library Community Room (718 Pine St. Ranger, TX 76470).
Richard was born January 17, 1957 in Tulsa, OK to Cecil Scott Harr and Georgia Pearl (Graham) Harr. He served in the U.S. Army before becoming a heavy equipment operator. He had worked for Eagle Construction in Olden and Austin Contracting Company and Southwest both in Dallas. Richard loved his family, loved to fish, had a soft spot for all animals, and enjoyed searching for treasures with his metal detector. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Nicholas Glen Harr; and 2 brothers, Michael Scott Harr and Larry Don Harr.
Survivors include his mother, Georgia Harr of Eastland; a brother, Danny Lee Harr & wife Sheila Bond of Lake Leon; a sister, Tina Tocci & husband Todd of Germany; many nieces and nephews including a special niece Cecilia Tocci; and his special K-9 friends.
