CISCO-Robert "Bob" G. Green, 73, of Cisco passed away Friday, May 17, 2013. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Chambers Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco, Texas under the direction of Chambers Funeral Home.
Robert "Bob" Green was born December 10, 1939 in Ranger, Texas to Bill and Addie "Ross" Green. He attended school in Gordon. He was a lifelong oil field worker having worked as a Gas Plant Operator. On January 9, 1959 he married Betty Vinson in Ranger, Texas and they moved to Cisco, Texas in October of 1974.
Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years: Betty, son: Eddie Green and his wife Sherry of Carbon and son: Tommy Green of Snyder, 3 brothers: Arthur Mann of Wink, Shorty Mann of Ranger, and Jeff Mann and 1 sister: Martha Hudson of Abilene, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Bob loved Baseball and was a supporter of the Cisco youth baseball programs. Memorials may be sent to the Cisco Youth Baseball Program and Cisco Little League.
