Robert L. Harbin
October 6, 1932 — October 26, 2019
Robert Lee Harbin, 87; passed to join his beloved Lord, this Saturday morning on Oct. 26, 2019. He was born the second son of Robert & Emmie (Hill) Harbin in the Flatwood community.
He attended school and graduated in Eastland, and he joined the Navy in 1951. He met and married Bobbie Sue (Mangum) Lindsey in 1961. They enjoyed life in the Navy. After his discharge he worked in law enforcement, pest control and city parking patrol. Robert was a member of the First Christian Church of Eastland where he also served as an Elder, he was a member of the DAV, and the VFW.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Ray & R.A. Harbin,2 sisters, and a nephew, Billy Ray.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie; 3 sons, Bruce Harbin, Eugene Lindsey, and Art Lindsey; daughter, Karen Lindsey, and numerous grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 2PM at the Murray Cemetery in Carbon, TX.
