EASTLAND – Robert Kirby, 68, went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 4, 2014 after a brief illness.
Robert was born on October 24, 1945 in Orange, Texas to Floyd John Kirby and Willie Slaughter Kirby. Robert loved people and was often found helping neighbors out with yard work. He never met a stranger and would meet you with a “Hi”, a handshake and more often than not, an “I love you”. Robert spent his whole life in Eastland living in the loving care of his sister Glenna.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Kirby.
Robert is survived by his sister Glenna Preslar and her husband William of Eastland and his sister Joyce Howell of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
