Robert Don Mcfaddin

Robert Don McFaddin, 84 of Carrollton, passed away Monday February 19, 2024 in Plano. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24th
at New Gordon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn on Friday, Feb. 23rd from 6 until 8 p.m.
Robert was born June 4, 1939 in Mineral Wells, Tx to Robert Owen “Dugan” McFaddin and Ola Marie Rogers McFaddin. He graduated from Gordon High School class of 1957. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas in Austin.
He married Dorothy Goree on June 18, 1959 at the Palo Pinto Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy McFaddin; 2 daughters, Linda McFaddin and husband Tony Guthrie, and Rebecca Hawley and husband Glenn; a sister, Nancy Edwards and husband Eddie; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
