Robert Elsworth Morgan

LAKE PALO PINTO - Robert was born on May 21, 1937 in Martin County, Texas to the late Johnnie and Helen Morgan. Robert graduated from Midland High School in 1955. He married Uvonne Rutledge on September 21, 1955. Robert farmed in Midland County, Upton County, and most recently in Yoakum County, Texas. He retired from farming and they moved to Lake Palo Pinto, Texas in August 2013. He passed away on March 24, 2014 at home at Lake Palo Pinto.
Robert is survived by his wife Uvonne Morgan; son, Eddie Morgan and wife, Marie of Texas City, TX; daughter, Carrie Gilbert and husband, Eddie of Edmond, OK; son, Roger Morgan of Midkiff, TX; brother, Kenneth Morgan and wife, Glenda of Stilwell, OK; sister, Patsy Northcott of Crawford, TX; grandchildren, Dustin Truitt and wife Melissa of Tulsa, OK; Ashley Boyd and husband, Scott of Houston, TX; Shane Morgan and wife Andrea, of Weatherford, TX; Bradley Morgan and wife, Janay of Eldorado, TX; Jadon Morgan of Midkiff, TX; Vanessa Morgan of Kansas City, MO; Robbie Morgan and wife, Amber of Clovis, NM; and his great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Berkley Truitt, Shiloh Morgan, Haidyn and Kason Morgan, Carmen and Bobby Morgan, and Bentley Morgan.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29th at the First Baptist Church in Plains, Texas.
