Ronald Vincent Romero, 36 of Brownwood, passed away Monday March 29, 2021 in Brownwood. Visitation will be Friday, 5~7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Edwards Funeral Home, 211 Pine St., Ranger followed by burial at the Evergreen Cemetery.
Ronald was born on April 9, 1984 in Ranger, TX to Andres Romero and Sandra Caibaiosai Romero. After high school he joined the US Marines and served his country from 2002 to 2008 leaving at the rank of Corporal. After the Marine Corp, he went to work for an electric company and worked to become a Journeyman electrician. He was working for Grimsley Electric, Inc. in Brownwood.
He enjoyed playing pool, working on things, and he and his family shared their own language, speaking in “movie quotes”. Ronald was an amazing son, taking care of this parents’ every need.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Luis Romero; his maternal grandparents, Vincent & Clara Caibaiosai; a brother, Hugo Romero; and his nephew, Isaac Vincent Thomas Romero.
Survivors include his parents, Andres & Sandy Romero; a son, Braedyn Peek Romero and his mother Shannon Cox; 3 brothers, Jose Alberto Romero & wife Nora, Emilio Romero & wife Evella, and Jose Manuel Romero & wife Suzanne; 1 sister, Rebecca Romero Jackson & husband Jeremiah; several nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.
Loving family and friends who will serve as pallbearers are; Jeremiah Jackson, Marcus Dunn, Abraham De La Torre, Phil Darwin, Trey Bauchman, Daniel Purcell, Brandon Burk, and Aaron Borchard. Honorary pallbearers will be; Mark Ochoa, Michael Ochoa, and Mark Tyler.
