Rose Mary Weatherly

Rose Mary "Rosie" Johnson Weatherly, 88, of Eastland, Texas passed from this life on September 5, 2021 at her home.

Rose was born on June 20, 1933 in Davin, West Virginia to Floyd and Edith Reynolds Johnson. She married Billy Joe Weatherly on April 1, 1950 in Big Springs, Texas. She spent many years in Big Spring and McCamey before moving to Eastland in 1984. She loved music, dancing, working puzzles, attending to her yard, and everyone she met. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a housewife and a member of First United Methodist Church of Eastland. She was also preceded in death by her son: David Joe Weatherly and her sister: Ruth Edith Johnson Robertson. The family will always remember her each time they see her favorite "RED BIRD".

Services are private. Interment was in Eastland Cemetery.

Survivors include her son: Dennis Weatherly of Eastland; grandchildren: Damon, Lindsay, Logan, Darron, Amanda, and Deana; numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
