Roy Wayne Cox, 69, of Gordon passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Fort Worth. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Roy was born on June 17, 1947 in Danville, Illinois to Arthur Cox and Martha Frankeburger Cox. He graduated from Irvin High School. Roy married Alicia Hardison in September of 1993 in Fort Worth, Texas, they moved to Gordon in 1998.
He was in the Army where he served in Vietnam. Roy was a member of the Open Gate Community Church in El Paso, Texas. He was a Truck Driver for NALU logistics. Roy loved to watch T.V., tinker with automobiles, and loved dogs.
Roy is survived by his wife, Alicia Cox and sister, Carol Cox. He is preceded in death by his parents.
