Ruby Boney

Ruby Fay Boney was promoted to her heavenly reward after a short battle with cancer. Ruby was born on February 6, 1944 in Arlington, TX to Lonnie and Ruby (Dunson) Tedford. Her journey through this life ended on January 25, 2025 just a few days short of her 81st birthday. She was married to Charles Boney in 1965.They celebrated 48 years of marriage until his passing in 2011.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boney, her parents Lonnie and Ruby Tedford, three sisters Pauline Pike, Pearline Caddell, Frankie Honeycutt, four brothers Lonnie Tedford, Billy Tedford, Alton Tedford and Cecil Tedford.

Ruby is survived by a sister Barbara McEndree and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends. Ruby will be missed by all who knew her and the kindness she shared toward them.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Barbara McEndree for giving wonderful care to her sister during the last month of her life. And a special thanks to her niece Brenda Evans for the great care she has given to Ruby for over ten years since the death of her husband and to her niece Barbara Burkhaulter who has assisted Brenda in the last year.

Graveside service is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home and will be held at Bullock Cemetery in Ranger, Texas on January 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Curtis Evans and Rev. Clay Strawn officiating.
