Ruby Lee Hatten

Ruby Lee Hatten, 88, passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 in Ranger. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Romney Cemetery, South of Cisco. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5~7 p.m.
Mrs. Hatten was born on September 23, 1928 to Sidney Wood and Pauline (Johnson) Wood. She married John Ross Hatten, her husband of 50 years, on April 12, 1949 in Odessa. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene Pickett; 2 brothers, Auby Wood and Buddy Wood; and a sister, Jerri Davis. Mrs. Hatten was a homemaker as well as a cook, and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include 2 sons, Charles Hatten, and Auby Hatten; 3 daughters, Ruby Bowles, Joyce Patterson, and Polly Pipkin; 26 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-great-grandchildren.
