Sammie Dunn

Sammie Tee Dunn, 85, passed away Saturday, May11, 2013 at Arbor House in Weatherford, TX. Mrs. Dunn was born November 5, 1927 in Huckabay, TX (Erath County). She had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Mesquite & Rusk Church of Christ in Ranger, TX. Her husband, Tom Dunn, preceded her in death On May 31, 2012. They were married 65 ½ years. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a good and honest woman with the highest integrity, and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Survivors include daughter, Dianne Blair and husband Tom of Cedar Park; daughter, Alicia Belvin and husband Tom of Weatherford; daughter, Brenda Anderson and husband Rex of Weatherford; and son, Thomas E. Dunn and wife Vicki of Glen Rose. Sammie is also loved and remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sammie was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Alvin Pack and Addie Pack; her husband, Tom Dunn; brother, Nolan Pack; and sisters, Veda Millican, Verna Morren, Nina Hendrickson and Golda Fron. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Mesquite & Rusk Church of Christ in Ranger, TX. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16th at Mesquite & Rusk Church of Christ in Ranger with burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Erath Garden of Memory in Stephenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Foster's Home for Children, 1779 North Graham St, Stephenville, TX.
