Samuel M. Seay

Samuel M. Seay, age 93, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Abilene, Texas. A visitation will be 5-7:00 PM Thursday, April 6th at Edwards Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Friday, April 7th at Alameda Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Samuel was born February 10, 1930 in Kokomo, Texas in Eastland County to Gladys and Sam R. Seay. He married Mary June White in July of 1954 in Ranger and they were together for 57 years before her passing December 8, 2011.

He is survived by son, Duke Seay; daughter, Sheila Denise Richardson; brother, Fred Seay; sisters, Pearl Jane Harper and Viola Boyer; 3 grandchildren, Mary Elisabeth Seay, Samuel Seay, and Shayla Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sam is proceeded in death by his parents, Sam and Gladys; son, Samuel Dirk Seay; and sister, Margie Weems.
