Sandra Holder passed from this life Friday, May 2, 2014. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Strawn. Interment will follow in the Mt. Marion Cemetery. A visitation will be Monday, 6~8:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn.
Sandra was born October 31, 1940 to Albert and Sylvia Lane Talley. She attended Strawn Schools and attained a GED to complete her high school education. She worked for many years for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas before retiring in 1994.
Sandra enjoyed her grandchildren very much, loved to fish, and loved to spend time at Guest Ranch. She was a long time member of the Strawn American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sammie; her parents, Albert and Sylvia; her husband, Howard; and two brothers, Robert and Buddy. She leaves behind two loving daughters, Kim Garland and husband Kent, and Jerri Lynn Guest and husband Jimmy; three grandchildren, Stacy Breneman, Cassie Moody, and Taylor Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Caeden Breneman, and Sutton Robinson; and sister, Patty Leonard and husband Mike. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members and many close friends
