Stanley David Weekes

Stan David Weekes went to be with the Lord Wednesday April 20, 2015. Service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Tabernacle in Alameda Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Ranger, Texas. Stan was born to Willis Harlin Weekes and Mollie Matilda Shoemaker Weekes April 26, 1941 in Gorman, Texas, Graduated from High School in Odessa in 1959. He married Glenda June Champlin December 18, 1960.

He was a God fearing Christian, an ordained Deacon, music minister, and youth director. He was a trapper extraordinaire, loved raising chickens and giving eggs to friends, gardening, and gambling especially scratch offs.

Those that will miss him most are, his Wife Glenda, two sons Kevin Weekes and wife Cynthia, Ben Weekes, one daughter Amy Reed and Russell Walker, one sister Billy Cunningham and husband Jim, Nephew David Cunningham and Niece Dana Cunningham four grandchildren; Caroline Reed, Jake Weekes, Molly Weekes, and Callie Reed Davis, one great granddaughter Keira Huitt.
