Sylvia Marie Sleator

Sylvia Marie Sleator passed from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior September 18, 2022. She was born in Detroit, MI, August 17, 1934, to Michael and Nellie Toth. While Montana was a long-time home, she moved to Texas after the passing of Ken, her beloved husband of 50 years, to be close to family.

Sylvia was a Navy wife for 20 years. She loved traveling, bowling, crafting, and ministry. Her many adventures included Alaska, Europe, Canada, and throughout the US. Sylvia's knitted, crocheted, cross-stitched, and quilted creations were given to people she loved. Her servant's heart touched many lives, and she was instant friends with everyone she met.

Sylvia is survived by her three children, Kathleen Ivie, Brenda McGill, and Brian Sleator, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

An informal Celebration of Life will be held at Myrtle Wilks Community Center Sunday September 25th from 2 to 4pm in the Big Dam room. This will be a chance for family and friends to share their memories about Sylvia.
