Terry Ann Nelson Nee Webb

Terry Ann (Webb) Nelson, 55 of Eastland, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2016 in Abilene. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Eastland with Dr. Shawn Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home Thursday, 5~7:00 p.m.
She was born on September 12, 1960 in Cisco to John H. Webb and Margaret Slayden Webb. After graduating from Cisco High School she attended Cisco Jr. College before graduating from Tarleton State University. She married Bubba Nelson on December 1, 1984 at the First Baptist Church in Cisco. To this union was born her pride and joy, Jeffrey. She was a teacher at Eastland ISD where she was lovingly known as Mama Nelson. She touched countless students’ lives through the years. She was an avid fisherman, wonderful cook, and enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and board games. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eastland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Cam Webb.
Survivors include her husband, Bubba Nelson of Eastland; son, Jeffrey Nelson and wife Kalee of Eastland; a brother, Bill Webb and wife Terri of Abilene; 2 sisters, Mary Hill and husband Richard of Cisco, and Kay Gann of Cisco; 3 grandchildren, Kaydence Reger, Alissa Reger, and Camdyn Nelson; father & mother-in-law, Ed and Beverly Nelson of Palestine; 3 sisters-in-law, Cindy Webb of Cisco; Shani Hutchinson and husband Keith of Grand Prairie, and Gaylene Wilson and husband Terri of Arlington; and 13 nieces and nephews.
