Tommie Wayne Allen

Tommie Wayne Allen, 72. Years old of Mingus TX. Passed away with his family by his side on May 23, 2018. Graveside services for Tommie will be at 2 pm Wednesday, May 30th at Doty Cemetery with a visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn until leaving for the cemetery.
He was born April 1, 1946 in Blanchard, OK to Thomas James and Edith Mae Bates Allen. He married Clovis Smith on March 5, 1966 in Lindsey, Oklahoma. He was a truck driver for 20 years before he retired. He loved to go fishing, boating, and enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include a son, Thomas “T.W.” (Tricia) Allen; 2 daughters, Tynsia Lowrance (Lee), Davalin “DeDee” Adams; one sister n law, Barbara Powell (Frank); one brother n law, Calvin Smith (Dana); 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clovis; parents, Thomas James and Edith Mae Allen; and sister, LaWatha Mae Arterberry.
