D.R. (Tony) McQueary passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at the age of 86 in Benbrook, TX from complications related to dementia. Tony was born in Gordon, TX. He was married to Helen Dorothy Crawford for 67 years after meeting in a telephone company office in Austin, TX.
Tony has 3 children; Donny, Carrie and Brenda. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with another on the way.
Tony’s passion (other than Dorothy) was traveling and camping in his Airstream trailer. He was also active in Wally Byam, for you Airstream aficionados.
Tony loved yardwork and, at one time, gardening at the farm until it was time to get back on the interstate.
Late in life, dementia was cruel to Tony, but Dorothy, Donny, Carrie and Brenda know his love for them is endless.
