Travis Jones

Travis Wayne Jones, 58 of Eastland, passed away Sunday. October 8, 2017 in Fort Worth. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Eastland. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the service for a time of visitation.
Travis was born September 7, 1959 in Snyder, TX to Wayne M. Jones and Jayne (Cooke) Jones. He attended school in Snyder until the 6th grade when he moved to Eastland, graduating from the EHS Class of 1978. He then attended Cisco Jr. College. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and worked in the family business, Jay-Way Supply in Eastland.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Preston Ward; grandparents, A.M. and Dessie Jones; and great-nephew, Norris Dill.
Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Jayne Jones; grandmother Mae Ward; brothers, Tracey Jones & wife Carol, Troy Jones & special friend Amanda Sanders, and Terry Jones and wife Crista; nieces, Brooke Dill & husband Jacob, Amy Dendy & husband Travis, Lindsey Snyder and Cameron Jones; and nephew, Jayton Jones; and great-nephews and nieces, Kayden & Reagan Dendy and Mathis & Lucy Dill grandmother, Mae Ward; and countless friends whom he loved dearly and counted as family.
