Vickie Jean Patton Smith, 54, passed from this life to the next surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S. Mulberry, Eastland from 5-7 PM Friday, February 21, 2020, then a memorial service will be held at 7PM.
Vickie Jean Patton was born on June 9, 1965 in Eastland. She was a graduate of Eastland High School. Vickie worked as a nurse’s aide, and was a loving and devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jerry Lee Ratlif; paternal grandparents, Jim and Lucy Patton; and maternal grandparents, Edith Stucky and Barton Vann.
Survivors include her son, Rusty Smith; daughter, Summer Crow; father, Billy Ray Patton; brothers, Rickey and James Patton; and granddaughters, Zoey and Vrayna.
