Virginia Nava Sauceda, 69 of Olden, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be held Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church with Aubrey Perella officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery.
Virginia was born on November 18, 1949 in Strawn to Chaco Nava and Teresa Ledesma Nava. She married Manuel Sauceda on July 30, 1982 in Abilene. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Pascuala Jimenez, Gloria Delacruz, and Rita Alvarado; 4 brothers, Tomas Nava, Felix Santos, Federico Jimenez, and Raymond Nava; a son, Samuel J. Sauceda; and a grandson, Manuel J. Sanchez.
Survivors include her husband, Manuel Sauceda of Olden; 4 sons, David Castaneda of Little Elm, Tommy S. Sauceda of Taylor, Antonio D. Sauceda of Abilene, and Michael A. Sauceda of Clarksville, TN; 3 daughters, Geneva Sauceda Lavender of Aspermont, Anna M. Sauceda of Aubry, Angela Castaneda of Dallas, and Amanda P. Sauceda of Round Rock; 3 brothers, Isabel Jimenez of Breckenridge, Daniel Nava of Strawn, and Zenon Nava of Breckenridge; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
