It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda Erwin announces her passing on April 30, 2022.
Wanda was born August 27, 1931 in Clovis, NM to Eugene (Ted) and Virginia Sheets. She married Fred Erwin in Farwell, Texas August 16, 1949.
Wanda raised her three children in Santa Monica, California. She loved sunbathing on the beach and loving and caring for her family and neighbors. She was “Mom of the Block” making countless sandwiches for her kids and their friends.
She then made her life in Ranger, Texas and worked alongside her husband. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Erwin; a son, Larry Erwin; and brother, Harry Sheets.
Wanda leaves behind many beloved friends and family including her son, Russell Erwin of Troncones, Mexico; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and David Hill of Ranger, Texas; daughter-in-law, Wendy Erwin of Ranger, Texas; sister, Pauline Scott of Flower Mound, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
There will be a private interment of ashes at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Texas.
