Wanda Joyce Mcgee Melton

Wanda Joyce Melton, age 70, went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday morning, August 8, 2023 at Ranger Care Center in Ranger, TX. She was born on March 12, 1953 in El Paso, TX to the late Sylvester Fredrick Martin and Christine Doris Martin. She worked as a waitress for many years and was a resident of Ranger since 1986.
Wanda married the love of her life, Jackie Lee Melton, on April 16, 2005 at Lake Leon La Mancha.
She is survived by her husband: Jackie Melton of Ranger; two sons: Gary Don McGee and wife Jan and Fredrick Dean McGee; 4 brothers: Raymond David Martin, Dennis Eugene Martin, Dwayne Edward Martin and Jackson Ray Martin; 6 sisters: Betty Jean Brook, Billy Jean Greene, Nancy Graham, Daisy Johnson, Mirana Sue Smith and Andrea Kelley; 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Lois McGee, Justin Dean McGee, and Christian Don McGee; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents: Sylvester and Christine Martin; and three brothers: Donald Clarence Martin, Pete Martin and Jim Martin.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, August 11, 2023 at Ranger Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday.
