Cisco - Wayne W. Giddings, 80, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 in Eastland. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Corinth Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 9:00 AM at the funeral home.
Wayne was born on September 3, 1933 in Yoakum, Texas to Ottis and Rubie(Long) Giddings. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He worked for the railroad, and he was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He attended First Assembly of God Church in Cisco with his wife Carol. He enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed fishing with Toy Boy, his dog.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Giddings of the home; his brother-in-laws: Jackie Kenney and his wife Norma of Coleman, and Richard Kenney and his wife Vickie of Coleman; his sister-in-laws:Mary Walker of Sweetwater and Judy Pittman and her husband Mike of College Station; Carol's daughter: Rosanna and her husband Alan Gossett; Carol's grandson: Brandon Gossett; his special friends: Bill Shipp of Fort Worth, Jim Grow and his wife of Fort Worth and George Montgomery.
