Wesley Lee Maberry

Wesley Lee Maberry, age 76, passed from this life and went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, September 2, 2019 at his home. A memorial service will be held September 6, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at the Cowboy Country Church (710 N. Seaman) in Eastland. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Eastland.
Wesley was born June 20, 1943 to John Pink Maberry and Evalee (Parrick) Maberry in Hamlin, Texas. He married Wilma Shirelett Calvert on October 8th in Abilene, Texas. Wesley was a truck driver and retired after 52 years on the road; in his spare time he would busy himself with leatherwork and spending time with his big red dog, Sullivan, his boxer.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Maberry; sons, William Wheat and wife Wendy of Palestine and Brandon Wheat and wife Linsee of Hawaii; daughters, Lori Gene Carey and husband Britt of Sylvester, Angela Maberry Burleson of Big Spring, and Ericka Messina and husband Bill of Bossier City; brothers, Dewayne and Ann Johnson of Loraine and Richard Holden of Comanche; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Wesley’s memory to the Cowboy Country Church at 710 N. Seaman, Eastland Texas 76448.
