William Gerald Hunt, 57, of Iola, went to be with his heavenly father Sunday, July 28, 2013.
Gerald was born November 17, 1955 in Gorman, Texas to William Ivery and Alma Sue (Sparkman) Hunt.
Gerald was a loving father, who always put his family first. He worked in maintenance/construction for most of his professional career. His hobbies included fishing, camping, softball, music, and spending time with loved ones - family and friends. He never knew a stranger and always had a good joke or story to share. He will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his three sons: Joseph Dwyane Hunt and wife Micheale Ann Hunt of Muncy, PA ; William Justin Hunt and wife Leah M. Hunt of Bryan, TX; Joshua David Hunt of Iola, TX: five grandchildren: Kinsey; Kaden; Korlin; Loralei; Gabriel: and by many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother.
His family and friends will have a visitation on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 5 -7 P.M. at Edward's Funeral Home in Eastland. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10 A.M. at the Wayside Cemetery in Rising Star, TX under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home - Eastland.
