William Joseph “Bill” Jernigan Jr, 56 of Ranger, passed away Sunday January 29, 2017 in Abilene. Graveside servies will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Macedonia Cemetery directed by Edwards Funeral Home, Ranger, TX.
Bill was born July 1, 1960 in Sonora, TX to William Joseph Jernigan, Sr. and Orlia (Flores) Jernigan. He married Karen Templeton on August 21, 1993 in Ranger. He was a truck driver at Triple T, and enjoyed doing crafts & wood work. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Sanchez.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; mother, Orlia Sanchez; a son, William Joseph “Billy Joe” Jernigan III and wife Pebbles; two brothers, Daniel Sanchez, and Michael Sanchez; and a sister, Pat Sanchez; many nieces, nephews, extended family members & friends. He was Papa to Trista Magill, Talia Hughes, and Courtney Magill who was like his daughter.
