William Wayne Johnston

William Wayne Johnston, age 82, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 23, 2021. The Holy Rosary will be read at 7pm Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home, 411 S. Mulberry Eastland, TX.
William was born April 2, 1938 in Windsor, Ontario Canada to William and Helen Daughtery Johnston. After college William joined the US Army and served during the Korean War and served a total of 23 years. He married Miss Rosalie Ketring, December 26, 1956 in Nahunta, GA. William worked as a computer analysis and is 1996 moved to Eastland County from El Paso, TX. He was a Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Rosalie Johnston, sons; David Johnston and Romeo Johnston, daughters; Robin Black and husband Michael, Rebecca Fields and Billie Jo Johnson and husband Jimmy, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents and two beautiful daughters Roseanna and Claudia.
