William H. Kimbrough, 91 of Ranger, passed away Thursday November 26, 2015 in Ranger. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12th at the Alameda Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Mr. Kimbrough was born August 2, 1924 in Eastland to Thomas Andrew and Jennie (Weeks) Kimbrough. After high school he served in the U.S. Army. He married Lillian W. Neely in Reno, NV and together they ran Lillie’s Coffee Pot in Ranger for over 22 years. He had a passion for restoring antique cars and enjoyed driving them in parades for many years. He was instrumental in establishing the Eastland County Antique Car club. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Lawrence Kimbrough; brother, Harlan Kimbrough; and 1 grandchild.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie of Ranger; a son, Michael Shawn Kimbrough of Stephenville; 3 daughters, Sandra Harris of San Angelo, Pamela Lewis of Ranger, and Teresa Miller of Granbury; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Kimbrough; 9 grandchildren; and many great & great-great-grandchildren.
